About Annica Menicutch
Annica Menicutch is an accomplished competitive performer and instructor specializing in International Standard Ballroom, Latin, and Swing. Born and raised in Sweden, she began dancing at a young age, training and performing Scandinavian folk dance — an early foundation that shaped her musicality, discipline, and lifelong love of movement.
After moving to the United States, Annica continued her training and went on to compete professionally. While living in New Mexico, she first trained and competed in Country Western dance before discovering her true passion for Professional International Standard Ballroom.
Together with her partner, she traveled extensively, competing at a high level and earning top placements, including multiple First and Second Place awards in Standard Ballroom competitions and the title of Professional Rising Star.
She earned her Associate Degree with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, further strengthening her technical foundation and professional credentials.
Annica later relocated to California to continue advancing her training, teaching, and competitive career.
Teaching has always been at the heart of Annica’s journey. She believes dance lessons should be both enjoyable and rewarding, creating an environment where students feel confident and inspired. Each lesson is thoughtfully tailored to the individual’s level, goals, and abilities.
Annica specializes in working with couples, individuals, seniors, and wedding clients, and she also enjoys guiding social dancers and competitive students. Drawing from her diverse background, she has a natural ability to tune in to each student’s needs, helping them feel comfortable, connected, and confident on the dance floor.
For Annica, dance is more than learning steps — it is expression, partnership, and the joy of movement at every stage of life.
